I have been trying really hard to import my students using the template that has been provided; have not had any luck!!!

I have saved my list under three formats and tried to upload them to no avail. Once I hit "browse for file" and select my file, nothing happens!!!

Any ideas?

Highlight all the blank rows at the bottom of your list and delete them. It may sound like nothing but without doing that the importer brings those blank rows in as students with no name.   This helped me when I was having issues with uploading students.

I am having the same issue, and I tried the suggestion of deleting empty rows.  But nothing is working.  Any other suggestions?

I clicked on Import students, then I got the screen with the "Download template" and "Browse for file" buttons.  I downloaded the template and filled it with my student data (except for email, don't have).  When I attempt to import by choosing the newly edited and saved template, the name of the file appears below "Browse" but nothing else happens.

Can you take a screen shot of where the import process stops working?

Just finished the import process and found it excruciating.

You need to tell your users:

1. Create one single .CSV file that contains ALL of your students from ALL your classes.
2. In that file, delete any extraneous columns and create a column for Course and Section
3. Make sure everybody's last name is in the last name field and first names in first name field.
3. Save that .CSV file and use THAT VERSION OF THE FILE to import your students into QuickKey
4. Assign students to classes.

Hi Dr. S,

Thank you for your feedback. The import fix that makes it much easier will be released in 2 weeks. Thank you for your patience, taking the time to share and for giving my teachermade app a try.

Best,
Walter
