Help and Assistance / Syncing Between Browser and App
« on: September 20, 2015, 07:21:19 AM »
I've made changes to my classes and quizzes using both the browser and the apps, Android and Apple. I only see the changes that I make on each device or website. They don't seem to be syncing with each other.

Help and Assistance / Re: Scanning 'blank answers'
« on: November 14, 2014, 08:35:29 AM »
Seeing blank answers would be great. I've noticed with the new update that there are more blank answers than normal (students have actually answered all questions). I'm going to try to the Sharpie idea and see if that works.

Help and Assistance / Re: Marking Answers that are "Correct", "Incorrect"

I've noticed a similar situation as well, but it's not all the answers. Once in awhile (maybe 1 out of 20 QKs) will mark answers wrong/blank. I then have to rescan or manually input answers. This has only happened after the new update.

I would love to be a beta tester. I think I signed up as soon as it was added to the website and I did get a response back and I was told I was early in the process of beta testing. Is my info still on file and can I still be a beta tester? Thanks!  :)

I think a mobile app for that idea would be great. A student version and possibly a parent version too.

Suggestions / Re: Going Green

We can go completely green if students can submit their answer electronically. This will only work if each student has a computer/phone/iPad though, which may not be available at all. Somehow the teacher can create the quiz and make it available for a student to download or open up (through the website or app). The student can then fill out the QK and submit it electronically. This would eliminate scanning all together. I would not be able to do this since I don't have access to this technology all the time, but it seems like a certain direction to take if you want to go completely paperless.

I think a warning would be great. This would give the student (or teacher) to correct the mistake and scan again. Right now, I have to go back in and delete the scanned quiz and scan it again after the correction has been made.

Suggestions / Filling Out Quizzes Online with A, B, C, D, E Heading
« on: April 21, 2014, 12:10:45 PM »
When selecting the correct answers online for a quiz, after scrolling a bit down the screen, I lose sight of the heading for A, B, C, D, E. I know this is picky and there are only five choices, but this would make a nice, quick reference.

Suggestions / Splash Screen Notification
« on: April 21, 2014, 12:09:01 PM »
After scanning a students quiz the notification allows us to see how many questions a student got correct. More information may be beneficial by telling us correct/total and the percentage correct. I have students watch me scan their quizzes sometimes and I have had many ask what their score is as a percentage. They can always figure it out on their own, but a quick answer when the notification pops up would be great.

Some type of quick reference within the app or website to let teachers know if a student has taken a quiz or not. This can then have the averages for all the quizzes as well. Possibly a weighted option for teachers to weight certain questions or quizzes.

Suggestions / Item Analysis Similar to Phone on Website
« on: April 21, 2014, 12:03:41 PM »
I really like the way the app is set up to quickly view data after scanning quizzes. I would like to have a view very similar to this on the website (in addition to the Excel spreadsheets). This will allow students to see how the whole class did on every question.

Suggestions / Archiving Old Quizzes/Organizing Quizzes
« on: April 21, 2014, 12:01:21 PM »
When the school year is over I'd like it to be possible to keep my old quizzes but archive them in a folder. So when I start the new school year I don't see a huge list of quizzes from the previous year. I would still like to access the old quizzes just in case I want to use them with my new classes. There would need to be a new option to link an old quiz with a new class (especially if I have a class called Period 2 from the previous year and a new class called Period 2 from the new year).

Having the ability to just organize the quizzes would be nice too. We could organize them by marking period or class, it would make it easier to look at rather than a large list of quizzes.

Suggestions / Re: Allow survey type questions

I definitely agree. One way to "create" a survey is marking every question you create with the correct answer of E. Then only have answers or scales (1-4) as A, B, C, or D as possible selections for students. It'll say that every student got the question wrong but you can then do an item analysis on each question and see how many times each choice was selected.
