Hi,

I am sorry for our lack of clarity with the new scanner. If you are using an iPad you have to move it in a bit closer than before and it will scan fine. Move closer until the green brackets are around the student name box and the answer boxes and it will scan as before. We are still working to get it perfect and will release another update shortly.

Hi All,

I have received reports of a scanning issue with the beta, some peoples tickets just wont scan:

I apologize for the frustration you are experiencing. The problem is with how dark the copies of the tickets themselves are, not the bubbled in answers. An easy remedy is to run them through the copy machine and increase the darkness and they will scan fine. We are releasing version 2.0 in three weeks and this is one of the problems that is fixed.

If for some reason this solution does not work, please send me a support, and I will get it worked out.

Currently I would say don't use it, it will probably cause a misscan. But the section is there for exactly the reason you have stated to allow teachers to differentiate tests. We are working on getting it up and running.
